Kabir Ship Recycling Facility is one of the largest Ship Recycling Yards in the world having annual recycling capacity more than 3,00,00 Ton LDT. Our facilities are located in Chattogram, the port city of Bangladesh, approximately 245 kilometers from the capital city, Dhaka. The facilities were established in 1985 and incorporated in 1996 and create employment opportunities for more than two thousands of workers. By offering green ship recycling approach, our ship recycling facilities have consistently set the standard for the safe and environmentally sound recycling of various types of ships such as bulk carrier, containers, tankers, , offshore structures etc.

Kabir Ship Recycling Facility has the betterment of the environment and workers health & safety in mind, it carries out, undertakes to establish, document and implement an integrated management system that complies with the requirements of ISO 30000:2009, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standards by the having assessment, verification, audit and certification by International Certification Body, as well as complying with the requirements of The Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships (HKC 2009), relevant ILO Guideline and all other applicable local laws, rules & guidelines.
